Joel started his journey at TAP as a maintenance programs engineer. In 2008 he was selected as the TAP‘s representative for the A350 Industry Steering Committee (ISC), the group responsible for the establishment of the initial maintenance program of the A350XWB aircraft. In addition, he accumulated the role as responsible for the maintenance program of TAP‘s single aisle (SA) fleet and was also appointed as the SA ISC TAP‘s representative. Joel participated in the specification of a tool to automatically convert data contained in the reference aircraft maintenance planning document – MPD – to the TAP‘s Maintenance Information System (MIS).

Before joining TAP, Joel developed his project management skills working as a consultant at Accenture Consulting.

Luís joined the TAP’s Aircraft Maintenance Department in 2010 as a mechanical systems engineer, responsible for Air Conditioning, Ice and Rain Protection and Pneumatic Systems, for both A320FAM and A330/A340. Additionally, in late 2011, he was nominated Warranty Manager for the Aircraft Maintenance Department. Luís also participated in the Airbus ATA 21&36 Working Groups, for both the Single Aisle and Long Range fleets.

Before joining TAP, Luís developed his project management skills working as a Construction Site Manager at Edifer Group. He participated in several projects during his Masters Degree, which allowed him also to develop investigation skills.
