AIRMES at Tech@Portugal 2019
The Tech@Portugal took place on 4 July 2019 in Porto, Portugal.
The event was organised by the Portuguese National Innovation Agency (ANI). It attracted over 100 Portuguese technology and innovation organisations such as companies, interface centers, star-tups, clusters and collaborative laboratories that shown the results of several R&D projects .
One of the project partners, ISQ, showcased the Virtual Reality (VR) system developed within AIRMES.

The demonstrator has been designed as a
cost-effective tool for improving maintenance operations and skills. It
can be used for parts and working areas with difficult access and low
visibility. The VR system is expected to provide a high-level training,
reliable information to the technicians on the maintenance operations,
facilitate the identification and execution of the procedure to be
applied and improve the repair time.
